3 daily practices moms should train and engage with their children for a fruitful future.

When it comes to caring for and educating children, mothers play an important and significant role. Mothers determine the health, happiness, and well-being of their children and families. Therefore, the daily actions and parenting methods of mothers have a profound impact on the character and psychology of their children in the future.

According to expert Anh Nguyen, author of the book “Being a Mother Without Pressure,” when mothers are aware of their important role, all they need to do is try to practice a few positive things with their children, and the “sweet rewards” that mothers receive will be immense.

Below are 3 important things that mothers should cultivate and practice with their children every day.

Instill discipline by making the bed

Making the bed every morning may seem like a small, tedious, and dull task. However, it is a dose of medicine that stimulates strong willpower in individuals. Organizing the bed for a fresh start each day will gradually instill in children a good habit of tidiness and meticulousness in every task they do. It will also help children understand that everything requires carefulness and thoroughness in every little detail.

Say loving words and provide motivation

Every day, parents should use more positive words with their children instead of harsh scolding. Positive words are not empty compliments, such as “you are too good,” but rather focusing on the efforts the child has made. In words of encouragement, there should be two parts: one is recognizing the child’s efforts, and the other is being proud of it. For example, “today you went to school without crying, and I feel proud of that.”

Along with words of encouragement, words of love are also very important. Many successful and well-known parents often tell their children every day, “I love you very much.” Just a seemingly simple sentence that will encourage the child with the love of their parents.

Ask children about the things that bring them happiness at the end of each day

Research shows that children will be more willing to share with their parents when their parents ask about what makes them happy each day. The measure of success is the joy of the children, and all successful parents understand this. Helping children develop the habit of recognizing the present moment and feeling their own happiness is also the way parents are teaching their children to enjoy life.
